Ataba Ella waterfall is a small and safe waterfall to have a enjoyable bath with your friends. It’s located in a rural village, Udugalakanda, Bulathsinghala.
A fresh water stream through the Forest
The Ataba ella waterfall area is very rich of small waterfalls and water streams. And also, this area has a good forest area. There is a natural pond to swim and water level is good for a safe swim. However, be careful always if you cannot swim or there can be sudden water level ups due to heavy rainfalls.
How To Reach Ataba Ella
From Colombo
You can reach the waterfall from your own car without any difficulty. Last 1km of the road is not in very much good condition when we last visited the waterfall in January 2024. But, stiil it has enough space for a car.
